Studying Abroad Is Good For Everyone
And Your Grades Really Don't Tell The Whole Story About You.
The title kind of says it, but we have more to tell you so do keep reading!
Some of the good reasons to study abroad are to broaden one's horizons, to look at your study field from a different perspective and to hopefully learn more things than if you just stayed at one school your whole study time. And these experiences are really the same useful for everyone.
So, supposing you intend to make a degree and a career in the field you are studying (if not, please read below!), you don't have to be best in your class and you don't have to be teachers' favorite student to consider a semester abroad, or to successfully complete, say, a master degree at a university abroad. Rather than questioning your abilities from where you are standing, you can try testing them in a different environment. Actually it's possible that you haven't yet seen most of your own capacities, so why not go and discover!
Even if you have some doubts about the direction of your future career, some study time abroad might just help you decide what it is you would like to make better or different. Or make you realize what you can expect from a school and what you can expect from yourself.
These are maybe not the first thoughts many people would have about what student mobility is about, and that's why we are pointing them out. Studying internationally is beneficial for much greater variety of people than many would think.
We think studying abroad is going to be a positive experience for everyone who tries, that's why we decided to put our time into building Uniseeker and writing this blog for you.
So! Don't stick to any cliches and try thinking: why shouldn't you dare to study abroad? And if you like, let us know your thoughts through our Facebook page!
